more ramblings
well its 9:26 pm, ive just had a shower and now theres nothing to do, so ive decided to play with my new toy...my blog. (to all those people who think that there was some sexual connotation there, you are sick, disgusting and need some help, or u r a teenager, the latter is a justification for ur thoughts) any way ive got evanescence playing, i love that band their music is awesome!, and im sitting in a fire heated room with time to kill untill i go to bed.
to kill alot of the time, i have been watching a text client of a protien folding program from www.distributedfolding.org its hypnotsing watching it. what this program does is basically try and simulate how protiens might fold and send back the results to the server and hopefully they can figure hot how protiens misbehave and cause things like cancer and other such horrible stuff. if u can, please download the text client. it doesnt lad ur puter or n e thin so its all good. if you do get this wonderful program, join a team called "interdigestion INC" thats my team, and were goin real good.
in other news, ive been building a minature dam here at taree as i mentioned in my last post. its been very interesting cause i havent done n e thing like this before so ive had to figure out which desight will work best which is basically, rocks then mud, then rocks and so on. so ive used many rocks and boulders and several cubed meters of dirt. the rocks are the worst to get there because they are nowhere near the dam so i have to go looking for them and when i get a big one which probably weighs as much as i do then its a long trip back. the dirt was a close second because the soil around the dam is mostly rocks which means i have to lsen it up with a pick, the shovel it around. very hard work, but its going well, its allready holding back the lake cause its rained heaps out here. also, this work has given me alot more muscle than i used to have so thats an added bonus especially since we're going into summer.
ive decided that when im older, im gonna come and live out here, i like the lifestyle, its nice and relaxed and im lovin' it.
but after this holiday out here theres the AYDP whoch is some youth forum for the leadership applicants at skool are going to. its gonna be just like the "success and you" seminar i went to, lots of happy-happy-joy-joy and lets-change-your-life-forever type stuff. all that forum did and all this one will do is create a heighten euphoric atmosphere whilst possibly teaching us somthing. at the last forum, it was how to get what u want out of life, this one is basically gonna teach us how to be peoples person. it isnt gonna be the real type of leadership taught at RMC duntroon, or equivilant which teaches you how to make decisions when the shit hits the fan. so i might not enjoy those 3 days, but hey, i might meet some kool people and maybe meets some hot chicks, that'll be great.
after that is school, this is self explanitory as far as creulty goes so i wont bother writing about it.
ive been at this for half an hour now and ive still got time to kill. im waiting for the server to refresh for that distributed folding thing so i can so how me, my cousin and his friend are going as far as folded protiens go.
this is somthin interesting, today i was on MSN and i got a message from amelia, this is the transcript
amelia: hey shit head
me: good to speak to you too
me: and what do i owe to that charming greeting?
amelia: fuck off and die
me: its obvious this isnt who its meant to be, so i wont bother talking to u any more.
at this point i got sent a hand drawn hand with the rude finger pointed up at me. for those who dont know there a program u can get which allows u to draw things in messenger windows and send it to the other person. i dont think it was amelia doing this, shes too nice, most likley some one who hates me and would know amelias password. im not going to name names but n e one who knows me and my past experiences would know who and why a person would do this.
just checked the fire, it burned down to embers, so i gotta get it going again.
the fire is good, now im gonna go watch tv.
