Friends
last night was fun. i got a call from dan that arvo saying he was up in sydney for the weekend, and implying he wanted us to all meet up. ok, kool, but i have work tonight. i head off to work, then when i knock off for the night i start organising people.
on about an hours notice, i manage to get dan, dave (dans adfa mate), chris, stephen, michael, terry and myself (obviously) to my place. i was surprised at how many people could actually just up and go somewhere at the drop of a hat, its a little sad, but very kool in this case.
dad was a champ as well, he went out and bought some nibblies for us as well, again at the drop of a hat. he bought 3 six packs of beer, and a few bags of chips and nuts. this was great, but only myself, chris and dave drank, and dave didnt have much. so now we have oodles of beer on the fridge.
anyway, what i really wanted to write about wasss....
terry brought up a very good point that we actually need to have a set time that every one can meet up and hang out. a monthly thing is prolly best in this case. i think this is a rad idea, but the problem is just getting every one in the same place at the same time.
so to any/all of my skool friends who read this, tell me when u have a free night so we can hang out for the night.
and the night progressed well. it was good to see (mostly) every one again. mike was the last to leave at like 2.30 am. chris stayed the night and we both were out of there at like 9.30
in other news, im walking along the harbour bridge today with steph. then afterwards we are going to have dinner. its gonna be our first official date and i cant wait. (excuse the rhyme, i dont do it all the time)
